Note the Freewheel unit attached to the rear of the transmission case.
Photos below show a Warner Gear T81-1 Transmission that may have been used on 1932-33 Hupmobile, Graham Paige or Franklin, probably with different input shaft lengths to suit application.

Warner Gear Inc. introduced the T81-1 Transmission with "Constant load" type of synchronization in 1931. Although Willys used a chassis mounted handbrake for domestic use, Right Hand Drive examples such as in Australia would have had the handbrake mounted on the transmission case just like the one shown above.
