1928 Whippet 96 Roadster
Hi friends,

I am selling my 1928 Whippet 96 Roadster.  The original motor was rebuilt last year by Fred's Engine of Pennsylvania and has less than a mile on it (Fred was quite the expert on the engines of this era!).  It is an older restoration that could use some minor tightening up on the interior.  Very good paint, tires, top, and engine!  Not sure of what to ask, thought I would start at $14,000.  Any thoughts?

Looks like a nice example! Would like too see more photos of the engine compartment, interior, and underside. I sold a Coupe ( fresh total frame off restoration- paint, all new nickle, interior, engine/drive train) about 15 years ago for 15K. I think the Roadster typically commands more than Coupes. Of course, I always say they are only worth what someone is willing to pay on any given day, but I think you might be a little low. Wish I had an extra 14K, I'd love to have it.
The one I sold stayed local (upstate New York) for a few years and then got sold to Australia! Here is a link

Thank you Larry. She really is a beaut! I have her stored in my father's garage but I will get you the other pics next time I'm over there. Talk to you soon.
